Vita is a geopolitics expert in our Global Issues team. Based in London, she is responsible for providing analysis and forecasting services for clients based around the world who are interested in understanding how the geopolitical environment is evolving and what it means for them. Vita regularly advises clients on issues including US-China relations, sanctions and regulatory risk. Vita was formerly based in Moscow, where she was part of our Business Intelligence team.

Prior to joining Control Risks, Vita researched China-Russia relations for several private and non-profit organisations in Russia, including the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. She continues to contribute to Carnegie’s coverage of current trends in China-Russia relations as a non-resident scholar at the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center. Vita also regularly contributes to expert panels and international media.
Vita holds a BA in Chinese history from Moscow State University, an MSc in Contemporary Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford, and an MA in economics from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. She speaks Russian, English and Mandarin Chinese.
