Vita is an associate consultant at Control Risks Russia & CIS practice engaged in business intelligence and due diligence investigations in the region with a special focus on Kazakhstan. Prior to joining Control Risks, Vita researched China-Russia relationship for a number of private and non-profit organisations in Russia, including the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. She continues to contribute to Carnegie’s coverage of the current trends of the China-Russia relationship on a regularly basis.

Vita holds a BA in Chinese history from Moscow State University, and an MA in economics from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. She also holds an MSc in Contemporary Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford. She speaks Russian, English and Mandarin Chinese.
