Andreuw Gunawan is a Director in Control Risks’ Business Intelligence practice and he leads the Strategic Intelligence offering for Greater China and North Asia. He has led projects across Asia, including China, Japan, South Korea, and ASEAN countries.
Andreuw has mainly served multinational companies, with a focus on market strategy, commercial intelligence, business transformation, pre-deal due diligence and assessment, and digital transformation. These projects have spanned both business-to-business and business-to-consumer sectors, including industrial and manufacturing, automotive, chemical, retail and consumer goods, e-commerce, and healthcare.

Before joining Control Risks, Andreuw spent two decades in research and consulting with global firms, such as Accenture, YCP Group, Nielsen and Evalueserve. At Accenture, Andreuw was the digital and technology strategy lead serving global key accounts in the retail, consumer goods, and consumer health sectors, leading teams delivering digital consulting projects across Greater China. At YCP Group, Andreuw was the sector lead serving global Fortune 500 companies across industrial and manufacturing, automotive, chemical, and healthcare sectors, leading teams delivering market strategy, commercial intelligence, and M&A projects.
Andreuw has a bachelor's degree in engineering from Petra University in Indonesia. He is originally from Indonesia and has spent the last two decades in China.
He is a native Indonesian speaker and is fluent in English and Mandarin.
