Based in our Berlin office, Tatiana provides our political, regulatory, and operational risk analysis for Central-Eastern European countries and EU regulatory affairs. She advises clients on the various threats to their business operations through custom consulting work, contributions to our subscription services, and responses to ad hoc queries.
Tatiana also leads Control Risks’ analysis of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and energy transition issues in Europe, conducting bespoke analysis for multinational clients and contributing to Control Risks online monitoring services, such as the ESG Country Monitor, Control Risks’ ESG-specific risk monitoring tool that covers +100 jurisdictions.
Relevant highlights of Tatiana's project experience include:
Prior to joining Control Risks, Tatiana worked on climate and renewable energy policy and regulation in Russia, Germany, and the EU as well as on evaluating the adoption of international ESG principles by Russian firms and international firms based in Russia. She completed an MA in Political Science and Environmental Studies from universities in Munich, Seoul and Venice. Tatiana also holds an undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of St Andrews, UK. She speaks German, Russian and English.
