The challenge
The client’s top executives were asked to travel to Kyiv to meet with government representatives. The executives required real-time threat monitoring to anticipate any security and operational risks while on route, as well as during their stay in Ukraine.
Our solution
Control Risks liaised directly with the client’s intelligence and operations team that was tasked with monitoring and travelling with the executives. We provided recce of the routes from Lviv to Kyiv to ensure that there were no traffic disruptions. Our security analysts provided regular situation reports to both the client’s intel and operations teams, and our cyber security specialists provided a pre-travel assessment and recommendations to mitigate cyber and information security risks.
Our support meant the client was able to enter and exit the country safely, understand Russia’s capabilities and targeting patterns, be alerted of any meaningful changes in the threat landscape, and stay updated on nearby bomb shelters.
