The challenge
This client approached Control Risks after its office in Kyiv was damaged by a drone strike. They asked us to do a risk assessment to help them decide whether to reopen the site to their employees.
Our solution
Control Risks provided an assessment on Russia’s offensive capabilities and the efficacy of Ukraine’s existing air defence systems. We also provided a list and map visualisation of the most credible targets located nearby the client’s office (eg, energy, transport infrastructure) to assess the threat level for its employees travelling to and spending time at the office.
With our assessment, the client was able to plan the restoration of its site and implement a working schedule to minimise the direct and indirect threats of drone and missile strikes to its employees, including recommended routes to work.
