Wanda is a Director within Control Risks’ Compliance, Forensics and Intelligence practice in Mexico. In her current role, Wanda is responsible for managing the team of researchers and for carrying out and managing investigative work for clients in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, including the conduct of comprehensive due diligence, business intelligence and fraud investigations.

Designing and managing reputational and pre-transactional due diligence and business intelligence investigations in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean to identify any potential reputational issues of concern, as well as any indications of possible regulatory violations.
Stakeholder analysis mapping for a company in the technology sector operating in Mexico and Central America. These included significant information from discreet on-the-ground sources to identify key local stakeholders, possible issues of conflict, and determine mitigation strategies.
Undertaking compliance audit for a large oil services company for its operation in Mexico. This included the revision of internal compliance policies, third-party vetting process, and identification of potential conflict of interests.
Conducting business intelligence and on-the-ground enquiries to assess potential conflict of interests of employees for a glassware company in Mexico. This included analysing on-the-ground source information with public record findings to identify possible issues of conflict.
Wanda holds a law degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and studied English at the university’s campus in San Antonio, Texas. Wanda speaks fluent English, Spanish and Polish.
