Victor provides political, security, and operational risk analysis on the Middle East. He produces pieces for Control Risks’ online subscription service and website and regularly delivers bespoke reports and briefings for clients across a wide range of industries.
In particular, Victor supports clients looking to enter Egypt and the Levant region by analysing market entry risks pertaining to policymaking, contract, and reputational issues.

Before joining Control Risks, Victor worked at IHS Markit (now S&P global) as an analyst and consultant focusing on oil markets and midstream and downstream projects in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Previously, Victor worked at AKE International, a political risk consultancy, where he focused on North Africa and the Levant.
Victor holds an MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and a BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Economics from McGill University.
Victor has lived in the UAE, Oman, Egypt and Jordan and regularly travels in the region. He speaks French, English, and Arabic.
