Lucas is a Director in Compliance, Forensic and Intelligence at Control Risks. He has over 10 years of experience focusing on the areas of eDiscovery, Digital Forensics and Incident Response. He has long-standing consulting experience, including operational, engineering, management and leadership positions. With his background in information security and digital forensics, he seeks to help clients achieve a higher level of maturity in their processes and prepare for the challenges of modern cyber security.

Before joining Control Risks, Lucas was a senior manager at one of the Big Four audit and consulting firms, where he was responsible for managing and conducting all matters involving digital forensics and incident response, and working to establish the department of forensic technology throughout the years.
Lucas holds a Master of Science in advanced security and digital forensics from Edinburgh Napier University. He is also a GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) and EnCase Certified Examiner. Lucas is a native Portuguese speaker and is fluent in English.
