Georgia is an Associate Director in Control Risks’ Forensic Investigations practice in EMEA. She is a forensic accountant with over eight years of experience in investigations and compliance advisory engagements across a broad range of geographies and sectors.
Recent tasks that Georgia has worked on include:
A long-term secondment to a multilateral development bank as part of an investigative project that targeted employee misconduct, contributing to the design of analytical scripts flagging potential misconduct and leading the forensic analysis and e-review into several employees resulting in formal investigations.
Investigated allegations of non-financial misconduct for several clients across Africa, including allegations of abuse of office, sexual misconduct and harassment. Georgia conducted interviews with survivors, witnesses and subjects in line with best practice, performing forensic reviews of available evidence, research and compiling detailed reports for clients.
Led a tailored global audit programme for a membership organisation dedicated to improving working conditions in global supply chains. Georgia conducted in-depth reviews of third parties engaged by the client, coordinated audits worldwide, led the quality review process and served as the main point of contact for the client.
Prior to joining Control Risks, Georgia gained over five years of experience working as a forensic accountant at a “Big Four” accounting firm and an international forensics consultancy firm.
Georgia is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and (ICAEW) and is certified to perform investigations into Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH). She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), CHS Alliance Tier 3 Investigator Qualification Training Scheme – Investigations into Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment. Georgia has a BSc (Hons) in Economics with Industrial Experience.
