An international airline needed to ensure crew safety at local hotels during turnaround.
Control Risks’ approach
Control Risks performed risk assessments of the turnaround cities to provide the airline with an understanding of the security environment where the crews would rest during turnaround. We also carried out site security reviews of the accommodations to ensure that the locations were adequate to the external threats, as well as in line with corporate and union policies for turnaround accommodation.
Client outcome
Our reviews assisted our client to understand the security risks crews faced during aircraft turnarounds and crew changes. This enabled additional measures to be implemented reducing their risk exposure and ensure the safety and security of all aircrew personnel.
