Marina Pera is Control Risks’ Associate Analyst for the Southern Cone, with a focus on Argentina and Uruguay. She produces regular updates for Control Risks’ online services and writes consultancy reports on political, operational, reputational and security risks.

Before joining Control Risks, Marina was an intern on the political analysis team at a financial firm as well as with the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Marina graduated from PUC São Paulo with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and currently holds a master’s degree in global governance from PUC São Paulo. She is a native Portuguese speaker and speaks fluent English and Spanish.
