Marina is an Analyst for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, based in our Mexico City office. She produces regular updates for our online services and writes consultancy reports on political, operational, reputational and security risks.

Marina was previously based in São Paulo, where she was an Associate Analyst for the Southern Cone, with a focus on Argentina and Uruguay. Before joining Control Risks, Marina worked as an intern at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and on the political analysis team at a financial firm.
Marina holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and a master’s degree in global governance, both from PUC São Paulo.
She is a native Portuguese speaker and speaks fluent English and Spanish.
