Marina Pera is a Researcher at Control Risks for the Southern Cone. She produces regular updates for Control Risks’ online services and conducts research for consultancy reports on political, operational, reputational and security risks.

Before joining Control Risks, Marina was an intern on the political analysis team at a financial firm as well as with the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Marina graduated from PUC São Paulo with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in global governance at PUC São Paulo. She is a native Portuguese speaker and speaks fluent English and Spanish.
