Julia Livick is an Associate Director at Control Risks.
Based in New York, she is responsible for business development and growth strategy in the Americas, enabling the firm’s clients to manage political, integrity, and operational risks and make critical business decisions with confidence.
As part of Control Risks’ Business Intelligence practice, Julia supports global corporations, private markets investors, financial institutions, and their legal advisors in gathering strategic intelligence to inform dealmaking, market entry/exit, disputes and litigation, and third-party risk management.
Julia has over a decade of career experience at the intersection of business and politics, helping global organizations to build relationships with clients and partners and to identify strategic opportunities.
Prior to joining Control Risks in 2016, Julia provided risk analysis and strategic advisory to a major, global energy infrastructure company. She previously worked at the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan and for a business services and advisory firm that supports companies entering the Middle East and North Africa. She also led a campaign field team on behalf of a winning US Senator.
Julia has an MA in International Business and Public Policy from The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University and a BA in International Political Economy from Colorado College.
