Jon Greenaway is Market Director for Western Australia. He has extensive experience in the upstream oil and gas sector, working in risk and compliance, business integrity and security and emergency management. 

Based in Western Australia, Jon managed compliance risks for an upstream energy company when it expanded to Asia, Africa and Latin America. He also held roles in crisis and emergency management teams.


Jon’s recent experience includes: 
  • Business intelligence and due diligence reporting, fraud & anti-bribery and corruption risk assessments and workshops
  • Corporate governance reporting and designing and implementing business integrity programmes
  • Conducting and managing workplace investigations 
  • Crisis management, both in team deployment and exercises
  • Community engagement, ESG and sustainability management and reporting

 

Jon established and managed the Brussels office of a risk consultancy firm between 2004 and 2008, supporting investment banks, law firms, multinational companies and the clients of public affairs firms, specialising in business intelligence, investigations and compliance.

Before being a risk consultant, Jon worked in South-East Asia as a journalist and for a non-governmental organisation that assists refugees.

Jon holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge, is a Certified Fraud Examiner and was awarded a humanitarian services medal by the Australian government for his work in East Timor in 1999.
