Daniela is an Associate Director in Control Risks’ Crisis and Security Consulting team in Bogotá, Colombia. She provides a range of security consulting services to help clients assess and manage critical security risks in Spanish-speaking countries across South America. Daniela specializes in risk management strategy, local community engagement, and high-risk environments.

Before joining Control Risks, Daniela was an Associate Director at a risk consulting firm in Bogota. She had previously served as an Advisor at the Presidential Council for Women’s Equity in the Presidency of Colombia, where she worked with rural communities in zones affected by armed conflict. Prior to her role in the presidency, Daniela was an Investment Advisor in Colombia’s government agency dedicated to promoting investment.
Daniela holds a BA in Economics and International Studies with a minor in French from Allegheny College as well as an MA in International Business Management from the University of Barcelona.
She is fluent in English and Spanish and speaks intermediate Portuguese.
