Roberta Brzezinski manages Control Risks’ Business Intelligence team across the Americas.
With 25 years of principal private markets investment experience, Roberta focuses on helping clients achieve clarity in their investment, M&A and operating decisions.
Before joining Control Risks, Roberta spent 25 years as a principal investor in private equity, infrastructure equity, and private debt on behalf of US, Canadian, and European institutions and fund managers, including CDPQ, the AIG Infrastructure Funds, and the International Finance Corporation, with a primary focus on global emerging markets, including Latin America, developing Asia and Central Europe. She was one of the original partners of Abris Capital Partners and has also served as CEO and board member of a NASDAQ-listed public investment firm. She has been based in various locations throughout her career, including New York, Washington, DC, Boston and several Eastern European capitals.
Roberta holds an MBA from Georgetown University and an AB in medieval Russian history and literature from Harvard College. Roberta sits on several private and NGO boards.
She is fluent in Russian and French, with basic proficiency in Polish, Ukrainian and Spanish.
