Leo is a Senior Risk Consultant within Control Risks One, Global Risk and Operations Centre (Americas). Leo specialises in security risk consulting and crisis management with an emphasis on the complex problem-solving needed to facilitate strategic decisions in volatile operating environments. She develops innovative security structures using data and technology where traditional approaches are not applicable.
Prior to joining Control Risks, Leonor worked at an Italian consultancy firm that specialised in assisting companies expand into new international markets. There she collaborated on the organisation of a business roundtable in Dubai and an assessment of the auto transport market in Mexico. Leo previously worked as a Senior Consultant in the Crisis & Security Consulting practice in the Bogota office where she led the NGO Hub Initiative and the Innovation and Technology area in the Andean Region.
Leonor holds a Bachelor’s in Government and International Relations from the Externado University of Colombia.
She is fluent in English and Spanish, speaks French at an intermediate level has an intermediate level and has basic proficiency in Arabic.
