Jed Baxter is a Principal in Control Risks’ Compliance, Forensics and Intelligence practice, based in Houston, Texas, where he oversees technology, development and operations for Control Risks’ Global Technology team. Jed ensures that the firm and technology operations teams adopt and utilize the most comprehensive technology while partnering with the best vendors to remain at the forefront of consulting. Jed is tightly involved in all aspects of information security, providing guidance within contracts and MSA negotiations, as well as being a designated subject-matter expert for global information governance.

Prior to joining Control Risks, Jed spent 10 years as the Senior Directory of Technology at Fronteo (Formerly TechLaw Solutions) where he created and commercialized private and public cloud systems in support of large-scale compliance, investigations and litigation disputes. He has over 20 years of experience in managing global technology teams, supporting both cloud and hybrid cloud eDiscovery and corporate infrastructure. Jed has an extensive background in managing geographically dispersed technology and operations teams and is well versed in cloud platforms, eDiscovery systems, networking, Microsoft server systems and information security management, including risk assessment methodology, change management, incident management and all supporting policies and procedures.
Jed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in information systems from Bellevue University.
