Cherisse Decena is a Senior Risk Consultant in Control Risks ONE, Global Risk and Operations Centre (EMEA). Cherisse is an experienced incident and crisis response manager in the international development sector.
Cherisse has previously led a team responding to ongoing geopolitical events and preparing security briefs for C-suite executives. In this role, she worked on a database compiling qualitative and quantitative data for threat mitigation in the APAC region. She speaks Tagalog (Filipino) conversationally.
Cherisse holds a Master of Science in Violence, Conflict, and Development from SOAS, University of London as well as BAs in both Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness and in International Studies.
