With a background in political science and international relations, Control Risks was a natural choice when I finished my MA in International Peace and Security at King’s College London. I was fortunate to be offered an internship as a researcher with the Global Risk Analysis team. For a recent graduate with a passion for all things geopolitics, security and world affairs, this was an amazing opportunity to use my expertise to support some of the world’s most interesting organisations – and it still is!
Throughout my career, I have experienced first-hand the benefits of working for a global and diverse company like Control Risks. Relocating from our London office to Copenhagen allowed my husband and I to move back to my native Sweden. Joining the Cyber Security practice as an analyst in the Cyber Threat Intelligence team was an exciting professional challenge. In my current role, I lead our strategic cyber threat intelligence and consulting practice, I work closely with clients to assess and advise on global cyber threats and digital trends.
At Control Risks, every day is different! From advising clients on the cyber fall-out of the conflict in Ukraine to designing bespoke threat assessment framework for a global technology client.
The heart of Control Risks is its people. Working alongside highly knowledgeable, ambitious and talented colleagues is truly rewarding. I am proud to co-chair the Control Risks Women’s Network Committee in EMEA, contributing to our efforts in creating a diverse, inclusive and supportive place of work for all genders.
