My path to Control Risks and subsequent progression is a great example of the diversity of backgrounds found here and the scope to evolve professionally. Before Control Risks, I studied in Scotland and Lebanon, and I worked as an English teacher in Turkey. When I returned to the US, I worked as a Senior Program Assistant for a non-profit focused on education in the Middle East. I started my Control Risks career in sales, supporting our market directors, account management teams, and senior leadership. I gained experience in market intelligence, industry research, news analysis, and targeted client outreach. The knowledge and experience I acquired allowed me to switch to the consulting side of the business where I now work.
Throughout my journey here, I have been genuinely impressed by the intelligence and openness of my colleagues. There is a strong culture of sharing knowledge and expertise. The diverse backgrounds found at Control Risks make every day unique. I couldn't ask for a better team to work with.
Outside of work, I enjoy being with my family, friends, and my dog. I love to travel and get out in nature by hiking and mountain biking. I also enjoy live music, cooking/baking, and exploring the food scene wherever I go.
