His geographic area of expertise is Latin America, where he helps both UHNW and corporate clients navigate and mitigate the region's challenging risk landscape.
He draws on more than 25 years of experience protecting people and assets across the public and private sectors. From early service in the US Marine Corps he went on to a career as a special agent with the US Department of State's Diplomatic Security Service and from there began leading international security and intelligence programs in corporate America.
Brian designs nuanced, culturally appropriate executive security programs that reflect the realities of each operating environment. Corporate clients generally seek his expertise for security program consulting, site security assessments and protective and executive security support. UHNW clients and family offices turn to him for protective security services, residential security, digital risk and privacy, threat management and travel risk advisory. - Supporting a large multinational company in mitigating security and civil unrest risks in South America that were costing hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost productivity and facility damage
- Helping a major US-based airline develop an executive security program to better protect its key executives at home, at work and during travel
- Conducting a person-of-interest assessment for a UHNW client to investigate threats made against the client and their family. Brian assessed the threat actor, coordinated with the appropriate authorities to stop the threatening communications, strengthened the client's online and digital privacy and helped the family feel safer at home and while travelling
