Martin leads our strategy towards private markets investor clients, with a focus on Business Intelligence.
Martin advises clients who focus on topics including but not limited to investment due diligence (funds and target companies), compliance with investment guidelines and principles, ESG and supply chain risk management, cyber risk, and personal threat (management and owners).
Before joining Control Risks, over the last 25 years Martin has been an investment banker at Merrill Lynch, VP of capital markets at the VC/accelerator Speed Ventures and has served in a range of senior direct investment and asset management roles at the Asian Development Bank and at the Chinese insurance group Ping An, based at different times in London, Singapore, Manila and Hong Kong.
Martin holds a FinTech Programme certificate from INSEAD, and dual master's degrees from Stockholm School of Economics and HEC in Paris. He speaks Swedish, French and (rusty) Russian.
