Chris leads our Iraq business operations across Baghdad, Basra and Erbil, overseeing a large portfolio of security and risk management programmes in one of the world’s most demanding operating environments.
He works primarily with international energy companies and oilfield services providers, alongside government clients, multilateral organisations and development agencies. His work spans static guarding, armed and force protection, security management and risk advisory, sitting where commercial strategy meets operational delivery.
Clients tend to engage Chris when entering Iraq, expanding operations or managing periods of heightened security, political or commercial pressure, where decisions need to reflect conditions on the ground.
Recent engagements include:
- Leading the transition of a major static guarding contract for an international energy client in southern Iraq, onboarding more than 700 employees across multiple sites.
- Restructuring commercial models and service configurations for several energy clients, keeping critical operations running under near force majeure conditions.
Chris brings a practical understanding of the operational, regulatory and cultural factors that shape delivery in Iraq. He is a strong advocate for building local capability, developing Iraqi talent into senior commercial and operational roles.
