Control Risks was founded in 1975 in response to a growing need for businesses to mitigate the risks of operating around the world. Back then the driver was kidnap risk, and we remain the global leader in resolving kidnap for ransom. We did something that no one else was doing and  created a unique firm. 

The world of risk, and opportunity, has grown ever more complex over the decades but our forward-looking spirit has endured. Today's Control Risks is still unique and driven to deliver the best for our clients.
