Victoria is a Senior Consultant within our Crisis & Security consulting practice, delivering consulting support and business protection advice to Control Risks’ clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Victoria supports clients in reviewing and developing strategic frameworks across a broad range of service areas, including enterprise risk management, corporate security consulting, travel and event security, and executive protection.
Recent tasks that Victoria has worked on include:
- Delivering comprehensive corporate security maturity assessments and gap analyses for major multinational organisations, alongside multi-year security strategy development and implementation planning
- Leading travel risk management reviews and framework development for clients across diverse sectors, supporting personnel travelling to higher-risk environments
- Managing global security vulnerability assessment and intrusion testing programmes across EMEA, enhancing organisational resilience and operational preparedness
- Delivering Executive Protection (EP) programme reviews, providing detailed insights and recommendations to enhance organisations’ executive protection measures commensurate to their risk profile
- Contributing to various industry research reports and authoring several thought-leadership pieces on key trends and best practice in security risk management
Before joining Control Risks, Victoria worked in the Aerospace and Defence industry as a market intelligence analyst. She was responsible for identifying potential opportunities and challenges pertaining to market entry routes, and investigating disruptive thematic technologies.
Victoria holds two Master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), graduating in International Relations (IR) and Conflict Studies. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) degree in International Relations. Her academic research specialisations include counter-terrorism policies and hybrid warfare strategies.
