Rebecca Scorzato is a Partner based in Washington DC. She oversees many of our key client relationships in the business resilience arena and spends significant time consulting on security, crisis resilience, and business continuity matters. Rebecca specializes in training and resilience exercises and has delivered executive-level training on six continents. 

Recent tasks that Rebecca has worked on include:

  • Supported a global Biotechnology firm in building a global crisis management and resilience program, including running exercises in supply chain risk, business resilience, and cyber crisis response 
  • Developed a crisis management and active assailant response program for a large technology firm 
  • Ran the business resilience department of a global insurance firm, including overseeing the day-to-day operations of Control Risks’ embedded team
  • Established an enterprise risk management program for a global biotechnology firm that included board of directors engagement 
  • Conducted an array of crisis management exercises for major pharmaceutical brand manufacturers at headquarters as well as at the regional and site level
  • Before joining Control Risks, Rebecca served as Associate Director of Global Security for Biogen. In this role, Rebecca was responsible for building and implementing the biotechnology company’s business continuity, enterprise risk management and crisis management programs. Rebecca also has worked in both the federal government and corporate organizations in the fields of information and physical security.

    Rebecca holds a Master’s in Information Security Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. She is a certified Master of Business Continuity Management and Governance Risk and Compliance Professional.
