Jackie is Managing Partner of Control Risks’ security services globally, including strategic crisis advisory and risk consulting, complex project and infrastructure risk management and operational security support. Based in Washington DC, she also serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. She previously led Global Security’s Advisory and Risk Consulting practise within the firm.
Jackie leverages her 25+ years of experience in the security industry to serve as a trusted advisor to boards, C-suites, and institutional leaders across the public and private sectors. Her work spans concierge crisis advisory, executive decision support and sensitive stakeholder engagement for multinational corporations, higher education institutions and high-net-worth individuals.
Recent engagements include:
- Serving as the strategic advisor to a Fortune 10 company after a major incident. Provided hands-on crisis leadership and decision support, and oversaw threat intelligence, security response and programmatic consulting services to assist with the company’s security transformation
- Leading executive security advisory, protective intelligence and executive protection program engagements for Board/C-Suites of multiple Fortune 100 companies and high-profile private clients
- Providing executive oversight and post-breach scenario analysis for a privately held company, including design of a customized security program, training and other concierge services
Jackie is widely recognized for her ability to translate complex risk environments into actionable strategies for senior leaders navigating high-consequence decisions. A respected voice in an industry where women remain underrepresented at the most senior levels, Jackie is also a Founding Member of Chief in Washington DC, a private membership network focused on supporting and connecting women executive leaders.
Prior to joining Control Risks, Jackie worked at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) where she provided advanced concept development services to various agencies within the United States Department of Defense. A certified Governance, Risk and Compliance professional and a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, she holds a Master of Law & Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. Jackie has basic proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese and Mandarin Chinese languages.
