Fuensanta is an Associate Director who manages Control Risks’ investigations and forensics projects in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

Based in Mexico City, she works with corporations, international development organizations, NGOs and educational institutions to manage international and domestic political, integrity and security risks in complex business and operating environments. With Control Risks' subject matter experts, she provides clients with strategic consulting and advising, including the handling of sensitive political issues, emergency and crisis response.

Recent tasks that Fuensanta has worked on include:

  • Managing large-scale asset identification investigations in Mexico to support a client on legal proceedings taking place outside the country, with multiple searches in various states across the country.
  • Leading forensic investigation related to employee misconduct, asset misappropriation issues, and financial reporting manipulation in Mexico.
  • Managing the design and implementation of a client's social risk program in Mexico.
  • Leading a team monitoring trends and regulatory changes in labor rights and human rights developments.

Fuensanta holds a BA in international business from the TEC de Monterrey, a specialization in logistics and finance from Neoma Business School in France, and an MA in sustainability.

She is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English and French.
