  • A litigation support exercise in the Republic of Guinea, seeking to corroborate the client’s suspicions that the claimant in a fraud case had ties to organized criminal networks and members of the ruling elite in Guinea.
  • A holistic due diligence investigation evaluating ESG risks throughout a mining sector client’s supply chain, from ASM and industrial upstream assets across numerous African jurisdictions, to midstream processors, shipping and logistics partners, and a downstream vehicle manufacturing plant in Western Europe.
  • An enhanced due diligence project ahead of a USD 1bn acquisition of producing and exploration oil and gas asset in West Africa, revealing impropriety in the target company’s original acquisition of the assets and material political exposure risks.
  • Eric is a fluent French, Portuguese, Spanish and Dutch speaker and has a keen interest in the intersection between qualitative information gathering and data-driven intelligence. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international management from the University of Bath, United Kingdom.
