Based in São Paulo, Deborah works across our Organisational Resilience, Security Risk Management, and Operational and Protective Security teams. She supports clients with executive protection task planning and management, development and delivery of security training, and security consultancy focused on security threat and risk assessments.
Deborah focuses on outcomes that truly matter – impact, efficiency and security. She identifies and mitigates risks before they escalate – protecting lives as well as reducing operational and loss costs. She is driven to contribute to smarter decision-making and more resilient organisations.
Recent tasks that Deborah has worked on include:
- Supporting the coordination of a complex security initiative encompassing insider risk mitigation, threat management, security operations and executive protection.
- Analysing and synthesising data across a large-scale organisation to inform decisions around executive protection and broader security planning.
- Supporting the orchestration of security for a high-profile event by managing personnel, overseeing secure transportation logistics, and implementing executive protection measures.
Before joining Control Risks, Deborah worked as a Crisis Response Lead, embedded through a private security firm. Before that, she held an Associate Manager position focused on forensic investigation and intelligence gathering.
Deborah holds a BA in international relations from Faculdade Santa Marcelina and is a member of ASIS International and the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC). A native Portuguese speaker, she is fluent in English and Spanish and speaks intermediate German.
