Chris is a Director in our Data and Technology Consulting practice. His insights help resolve urgent tactical and strategic challenges around governance, operational, financial or reputational risks. He advises clients on strengthening their approach to enterprise risk, leveraging new or existing data and technology investments to navigate geopolitical, regulatory or economic uncertainty.

Chris takes a data-first approach to helping clients solve complex challenges, delivering successful projects and programmes by enabling organisations to make better use of the people, processes and technology investments they already have. With 20 years of experience split equally between risk analytics delivery and advisory consulting, he combines strong business acumen with a practical understanding of how technology can deliver measurable outcomes.

Recent engagements include:

  • Investigating an entire board and associated entities to assess potential links to the Epstein files ahead of the largest merger in the industry's history.
  • Analyzing thousands of claims for eligibility and potential fraud following a major overseas security incident which caused millions of dollars of property damage on behalf of a UK government ministry,
  • Managing discovery and analysis of the size, scale and origins of online counterfeit goods for a global manufacturer, following multiple customs seizures of illicit versions of their goods at airports across Europe.

Before joining Control Risks, Chris spent a decade working across 15 countries in the software industry. During this time, he worked in risk functions at some of the largest and best-known global companies. One of the major projects he led was an industry-leading continuous transaction monitoring program in the pharmaceutical sector, underpinning the client’s entire anti-bribery & corruption and commercial medical compliance programs.
