Abigail is a Senior Consultant in Control Risks’ Crisis and Security Consulting practice, based in London. Her focus is assisting clients in designing and implementing robust crisis management and resilience frameworks, developing and delivering tailored training programmes, and providing real-time advisory support.
Major projects that Abigail has worked on include:
- Reviewing, evaluating and redesigning a global crisis management framework for a multinational retail organisation, to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with industry best practice and international guidelines.
- Developing and delivering a global crisis management training programme for a UK-based charitable organisation.
- Developing and delivering realistic, multi-faceted crisis simulation exercises designed to strengthen and enhance a multinational inter-governmental organisation’s overall crisis resilience.
Abigail joined Control Risks from a private intelligence firm, having served seven years as an intelligence officer in the British Army. She has over a decade of real-world experience, spanning both government and commercial sectors. This includes international experience in live crisis management operations, often in high-pressure, hostile and strategically critical environments.
Abigail has a BSc in Medical Anthropology from Durham University and is undertaking her Level 6 Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP) qualification.
