Africa Risk-Reward Index – November 2018
In the third African Risk-Reward Index, Control Risks and Oxford Economics analyse the impact of political change by looking at recent and upcoming elections in Congo (DRC), Nigeria and Gabon. We also focus on Rwanda and Uganda, which are making a big impact relative to their size, and include an update on Tunisia. The Africa Risk-Reward Index plots each country’s performance relative to its African peers by comparing some of the continent’s largest and emerging markets.
- which countries find themselves among the list of top performers on the Risk-Reward score
- where investors should look when examining the ‘second tier’ countries on the continent
- whose political and economic developments led to a down-grading of their score
