Service: Operational and Protective Security, Control Risks ONE
Location: France
The Paris 2024 Olympic Games presented a complex operational and security environment. Heightened security risks and travel restrictions across the city created risks ranging from opportunistic crime to potential terror threats
Given the international prominence of the event and the elevated national security alert, discreet yet comprehensive security measures were critical to safeguarding attendees while maintaining their overall experience.
Our Paris office and global network of experts worked together to closely monitor the French authorities' security plans in the lead-up to the Games. Our Protective Services team in Paris conducted extensive reconnaissance of key locations.
The Control Risks ONE Global Risk and Operations Centre provided 24/7 security monitoring and intelligence analysis. Our team leveraged Seerist’s AI tools to assess risks and issue proactive alerts, enabling us to develop a comprehensive support strategy tailored to the evolving situational landscape.
Partnering with trusted, vetted local providers, we leveraged their expertise and networks to enhance service delivery. A French speaking Operations Manager acted as the primary liaison for both clients and subcontractors and provided real-time operational guidance.
Confident that all security measures were fully planned and executed, our clients were free to focus on their Olympic experience.
Our discreet and comprehensive approach ensured a secure, efficient, and uninterrupted experience, providing peace of mind to our clients and their guests throughout the Games.
