Jayan leads our EMEA Cyber practice, and the Cyber Incident Response team, which supports clients through major cyber incidents and related crises. He is an experienced cyber security consultant with over a decade’s worth of experience in helping senior leaders define their digital risk management strategy and advises victims during acute cyber related crises.
Jayan has supported hundreds of clients through cyber incidents across the globe. He leverages his experience of both improving cyber security postures and responding to cyber attacks to help businesses build back stronger following incidents. He regularly advises clients on how to structure their strategic response to critical issues while helping to prioritize and execute the myriad of technical and non-technical workstreams that are often run in parallel.
Jayan has a blend of experience in technical implementation, strategy and governance and threat intelligence. He has previously managed the cyber risk advisory team at Control Risks and is a regular speaker at cyber risk events.

Prior to joining Control Risks, Jayan was a cyber security specialist at a Big 4 firm, delivering security consulting projects in industries such as energy and resources, finance, insurance, telecoms and media. Jayan graduated from the University of Leeds, where he read International Relations.
