Emma Story is Director, Clients & Markets, Switzerland at Control Risks, where she advises organisations on accessing and integrating specialist risk, intelligence and advisory services to navigate complex geopolitical, regulatory, security, and operational environments.
Based in Switzerland, Emma works closely with national and multinational corporates, financial institutions and internationally focused businesses, partnering with senior decision-makers to bring Control Risks’ expertise across risk, intelligence, investigations and crisis response into strategic business planning.

- Leading the development of senior corporate relationships and delivering high-level engagement initiatives across Switzerland, the UK, and the international business community.
- Leading the development of major public and private sector tenders and ensuring effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Building trusted relationships with UK and Swiss government trade and investment teams, acting as a conduit between policy makers and the business community. Facilitated strategic introductions, provided market intelligence and stakeholder feedback and supported the engagement of multinational corporations, investors and entrepreneurs.
Prior to joining Control Risks, Emma was the Partnership Director and member of the Executive Committee, spending five years with The British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce, where she built a strong cross-sector network spanning diverse industries. With over 15 years’ experience, Emma has played a central role in driving complex business initiatives and is recognised for her ability to convene senior business leaders, anticipate emerging commercial and geopolitical challenges, and build trusted relationships across international markets.
