I joined Control Risks in late 2014, in the Business Intelligence team, based in Mumbai, India.

To be honest, I had never heard of Control Risks before I started my interview process, and my interest in the company grew as I went through rounds of interviews. In my first interview, I was asked several questions about my Model United Nations experience and my last interview was conducted by someone who had worked in a government intelligence service. By the end of the process, I was convinced of two things – Control Risks was going to be a unique place to work, and I would be surrounded by intriguing people.

I’ve had several stand-out experiences at Control Risks that range from being deployed to Brazil for nearly three months to work on one of the world’s largest government corruption investigations, to working on a high-profile dispute at one of India’s oldest and largest conglomerates.

Such projects, coupled with a diverse and engaging range of clients and colleagues, is what’s kept me at Control Risks for so many years.

Outside of work, my passion is adventure sports, particularly scuba diving and hiking, food, travel, and technology. I also like watching films and TV shows, with The Wire and The Sopranos, and films like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars being my favourites.
