Andy Cox is a Partner in our Crisis and Security Consulting practice. Andy delivers risk consulting services and business protection advice to Control Risks’ clients across Europe and Africa. Andy has experience in advising a wide range of clients across a broad spectrum of business sectors and has delivered security transformation programmes as well as corporate and operational security, business continuity and crisis management services.
Recent tasks that Andy has worked on include:
Management of a strategic security transformation programme in the financial services sector delivering process redesign, efficiency and change management to manage the security risks facing the business.
Delivering projects to develop target operating model and security governance options for a security transformation programme in the financial services sector, developing service catalogues to inform reviews of current and future state organisation design and ensuring alignment to business objectives.
Managed reviews of global security policy and governance as part of a global security transformation programme providing gap analysis, recommendations and remediation for an international defence and security client.
Delivery of a business continuity strategy and implementation of a business continuity programme for a local government authority including: the identification and analysis of recovery options; preparation of crisis management, site-level business continuity and function recovery plans; and integration of all plans from emergency evacuation to IT disaster recovery.
Facilitation of crisis management and cyber incident response exercises to develop and enhance crisis management capability.
Prior to working at Control Risks Andy worked for Deloitte’s Resilience and Security practice and before that he served as a British Army Officer where his responsibilities included force integration and risk management.
