Our security information, analysis and support
Our 24/7 Global Information Centre and regionally based analysis teams ensure timely reporting on security threats and travel disruption anywhere in the world. We monitor and analyse shifting political and social situations, as well as natural disasters, to provide security advice for travellers, including country and city risk ratings and daily updates on incidents and developments.
Whether there is a requirement for pre-travel advice, activating local security support or the provision of emergency assistance, this specialist team is available 365 days a year.
Our infrastructure, a unique global footprint
The alliance has a unique footprint of resources. Our security centres are staffed by experienced consultants 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, who provide urgent and non-critical advice to travellers anytime, anywhere, serving as a seamless extension of an in-house travel and security management department. Our regional teams are on standby day and night to deploy in the support of evacuation and other assistance operations.
Our capabilities are reinforced and supported by the global network of International SOS’ and Control Risks’ 78 worldwide offices and 350 remote sites. This includes the embedded security and medical resources at International SOS’ 26 alarm centres and four regional aviation units that can support small to large-scale security evacuations, and Control Risks’ security consultants on the ground in over 150 countries at any given time.
