Waleed is a Consultant in Control Risks’ cyber security team and is responsible for supporting clients in assessing and strengthening their cybersecurity capabilities.
Waleed has experience in cyber and operational resilience, always working with clients to ensure organisational resiliency by preparing for, responding to, and recovering from cyber threats, helping clients thrive in building secure organisations with three pillars in mind people, process, and technology.
Prior to joining Control Risks, Waleed was a Cyber and Risk specialist at a Big 4 consulting firm in London providing advisory services to global Financial Services firms on how to prevent, react and learn from a crisis. He has experience in providing post-incident reviews for complex organisations impacting incidents. Waleed supported these clients in understanding the causes of incidents and providing short-, medium- and long-term roadmaps to not only recover operations but optimise as well.
