Ling is a Consultant in Control Risks’ Crisis and Security Consulting practice in Asia Pacific.  A security consultant with 20 years of holistic experience encompassing complex system design and integration for mass rapid transportation and security,  Ling had delivered a variety of security consultancy projects covering critical infrastructures, such as electrical power substation, stand-by command centre and train depot, as well as luxury mixed developments.

Ling is recognised as a Competent Person (Security) under the Singapore Infrastructure Protection Act and is capable of delivering Security-By-Design projects.

Recent assignments that Ling has worked on include:

• Physical security design for a data centre in Singapore
• Threat Vulnerability and Risk Assessment, and peer review of security design for data centres in India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney.
• Environment Risk Assessment for data centres in Indonesia.
• Security assessment for selected bank branches facing high security risks in Myanmar.
• Physical penetration test of the back office of a leading foreign bank in Singapore.

Prior to his current role, Ling worked extensively on command and control systems, security systems integration, and  security consultancy projects across Asia Pacific as a security consultant and project manager, where he was involved in multiple construction projects of hotels, mixed-use developments, hospitals, and defence administration offices. Ling holds a degree in the Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical).
