As Chief People Officer, Samantha is responsible for developing Control Risks’ people strategy and implementing this worldwide. She works closely with leadership to develop a strategy that is aligned with Control Risks’ business priorities and promotes the mission, aims and values of the organisation. She is a member of the Executive Committee.
Samantha joined Control Risks in 2021 and is based in London. She is a senior strategic and operational HR leader with extensive experience of working in high performing, global businesses. She is commercially driven with a depth and breadth of experience in delivering business outcomes through the alignment of people, performance and strategy. Samantha is collaborative and values-based with a passion for inspiring, empowering and developing people and enabling them to reach their full potential. She is a strong believer in and promoter of the ‘One Firm’ ethos and is a systemic thinker.
Prior to joining Control Risks Samantha was Global HR Director with Aon plc partnering with their Global Risk Consulting business and their Data and Analytics Strategy Consulting business. Additionally, she was a global leader and facilitator for the Aon United Leadership Development programme. Samantha also spent 11 years working with Macquarie Bank in both Australia and Hong Kong gaining extensive experience across Asia.
Samantha holds an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, is a qualified Executive Coach with Henley Business School, and has a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Economic History from Bristol University.
