Marvin is an Associate Director in Control Risks’ Business Intelligence practice based in Toronto covering the North America region. He specialises in due diligence investigations and conducting investigations on behalf of companies and their counsel relating to fraud, corruption, and money laundering.
Prior to joining Control Risks in Toronto, Marvin worked for more than six years in a large accounting and consulting firm. He has also worked on the development of economic development plans for First Nation and Indigenous communities within Canada and has experience in drafting feasibility studies for accommodation and commercial store projects within Indigenous communities.
Marvin holds an MA degree in Globalisation from McMaster University and a BA in Political Science and Economics from Lakehead University. Marvin is fluent in English, with working proficiency in Tagalog (Filipino).
