Febiani Tedja is a Senior Consultant based in the Jakarta office and is responsible for Compliance, Forensics and Intelligence projects throughout South-East Asia, with a focus on Indonesia. Since joining Control Risks, Febi has worked on investigative projects, together with due diligence and litigation support assignments, on behalf of clients across the globe.

Febiani Tedja is a Senior Consultant based in the Jakarta office and is responsible for Compliance, Forensics and Intelligence projects throughout South-East Asia, with a focus on Indonesia. Since joining Control Risks, Febi has worked on investigative projects, together with due diligence and litigation support assignments, on behalf of clients across the globe. The projects Febi has worked on cover a broad range of industry sectors, including infrastructure, financial institutions, oil and gas, property, telecommunication and fast-moving consumer goods.


Febi’s recent projects include:
  • Conducted integrity and reputational due diligence projects on Indonesia’s largest family business, including its key principals, as part of pre-entry investment support.
  • Delivered an in-depth research project on several high-profile businessmen in Indonesia as part of a multi-million-dollar pre-initial public offering exercise.
  • Produced pre-acquisition business intelligence reports in the telecommunication, mining and energy, property and financial sectors in South-East Asia.
  • Investigated a high-profile mining and energy firm and its directors in Indonesia regarding alleged fraudulent practices.


Prior to joining Control Risks, Febi was a research analyst at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School in Belgium, where she conducted research and published a journal on “Go-to-Market Strategy and New Product Launch” for Flanders District of Creativity. Before that, she interned at Cisco Systems Inc, where she conducted market research and analysed the growth potential of managed IT services in Latin America. Febi also interned at Westtour, the provincial tourism company of West Flanders, as a marketing auditor.

Febi holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from University of Indonesia and economics from Gunadarma University in Indonesia. In  2008, Febi studied at Vlerick Leuven Management School in Belgium, where she earned a master’s degree in marketing management. Febi is a native speaker of Bahasa Indonesia and maintains a wide network of contacts in Indonesia.
