Elspeth Robertson is a Senior Consultant in Control Risks’ Cyber Security team. She supports clients across the UK and EMEA in the provision of cyber incident response and crisis management services.
Elspeth has responded to numerous public and private sector cyber incidents, coordinating executive and technical teams to help reduce the harm and impact from these attacks. During her time at the UK National Cyber Security Centre, she coordinated the cross-government and incident response to some of the most significant incidents impacting the UK and international partners. She has extensive experience in assisting organisations engage with government, law enforcement and regulatory bodies.

Elspeth joins Control Risks from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and was previously a cyber security team leader at the Ministry of Defence. She holds a Masters from the University of Oxford and a PhD from the University of Bristol, both in Earth Sciences.
