Carol Kozlowski is a Senior Consultant in Control Risks’ Crisis and Resilience Consulting practice and is based in Chicago. She has extensive experience designing, developing, delivering, implementing and advising companies on end-to-end crisis management, business continuity and product recall programs including incident response. She has a history of providing effective leadership with a focus on total organizational coordination to efficiently manage operations, provide innovative concepts and ideas, streamline operations, and implement process improvements.

Before joining Control Risks, Carol was the director of product risks for the Americas at WorldAware and manager of crisis management at RQA, Inc. Carol was responsible for developing and delivering crisis management, business continuity and recall management plans in compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices, and training for operational and senior executive employees across several industry verticals. She has extensive experience in program development and training, project management, account management, business development, and risk mitigation strategies. Carol’s prior experience also includes a number of management positions in varying roles over more than two decades at ConAgra.
Carol’s years of experience have demonstrated success in crisis and recall management, risk mitigation, business continuity, supply chain, operations and resource management. Other core competencies include food safety and quality systems, HACCP, regulatory compliance, food defense, supplier management, consumer complaint management, social responsibility and sustainable business, and food safety culture .
Carol received a Bachelor of Science in commerce from DePaul University with an operations management major. Carol is APICS CPIM and ServSafe manager certified and has a certificate in Social Responsibility and Sustainable Business as well as an International HACCP Alliance certificate.
