Benjamin is a Director and General Manager of Control Risks’ East China business. In this role, he is responsible for leading market development and client relationships in East China, developing new business with domestic and multinational companies, and advising companies on areas of business risk that may impact their operations.

Benjamin is a Director and General Manager of Control Risks’ East China business. In this role, he is responsible for leading market development and client relationships in East China, developing new business with domestic and multinational companies, and advising companies on areas of business risk that may impact their operations. Benjamin has more than 10 years’ experience consulting on market strategy, with significant work in the technology, media and telecommunications, healthcare and automotive sectors in China and across Asia.

Recent projects include:
  • Risk management advisory covering market entry to on-going support for a leading German automotive company for its China rental and leasing program.
  • Developed a long term strategy and risk overview for a healthcare company’s services model in China, covering their supply chain, dealer distribution and services network capacity.
  • Helped a leading consumer brand with its market entry strategy, including channel management, key outlet training and coaching, and marketing strategy development.
  • Delivered risk management framework advisory for a leading consumer-electronics company to optimise its supply chain operations in Asia.
     

Prior to joining Control Risks, Benjamin worked with various strategy consulting firms where he specialised in mergers and acquisitions and market growth strategies.

Benjamin holds an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration (major in finance) from National Taiwan University. Benjamin speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.
